Boston Herald - Willie McGinest would love to return to Foxboro and finish his career where it started. The former Patriots [team stats] linebacker hinted at that scenario during an online chat last night with fans on NFL.com.
The 37-year-old McGinest has played 15 seasons including the past three with the Cleveland Browns. He is currently a free agent and apparently not ready to retire. McGinest put the Pats on a short list of teams he would play for.
“I enjoyed my run there. Don’t count me out, I might spend my last year in New England,” McGinest wrote in response to one questioner before answering a second, “All I can say is that it has to be the right team and the right situation, and the Patriots are on that list.”
Sign ‘em up, BB can do something with him. His skills have diminished and all but we need bodies, i’ll take him, Seau, Rosey, hell I would even take Andre Tippet.
